If you have a Publications/Downloads section on your website, you can find out how to use this here in the Publications section of our knowledgebase, including Linking to Publications from any page of your website.

If you don't have a dedicated Publications section but just want to add the occasional link to a document or PDF to your website pages, here's how to do it:

1. Go to edit the page you want to add the link to in the usual way.

2. Place the cursor at the place on the page that you want to add the PDF download link.

3. Click on this button  in the text editor:

4. A new window will pop up. Click on the name of the folder you’d like to store the file in in the list of folders (for general things use the ‘Downloads’ folder):

5. Now click the upload button (middle right hand side of window):

6. Click the "Add" and locate the file you want to upload on your computer.

7. Click “Upload”.

8. If the file has successfuly uploaded, it will appear with a green tick in the queue list.

9. Close the ‘Upload’ window.

10. The new file will now appear in the list of files to the right of the folder list. Click on the name of the file you want to insert onto the web page.

11. Set the options as required:

  • You can change the text for the wording of the link - eg. “download Booking form”
  • You can tick the Icon tickbox to display a little PDF icon.
  • Click the green arrows next to “Size” to automatically calculate the size, then tick the tick box and the file size will automatically be displayed.

12. At the very bottom of the File Manager window, click the “Insert” button to place the link on the
page.

13. Save changes to the website page. You can test out the link by going to that page of your website and clicking on the link you've created.
